Acht Duos für Barocklaute und Clavichord

„Vehicules“ sind acht zerbrechliche, flüchtige Bilder des Gleitens und Hinübertragens, komponiert in zwei Stimmungen. Für das Clavichord gilt a’= 432Hz, und für die Laute a’= 415Hz, was einen Drittelton Unterschied zwischen den beiden Instrumenten ausmacht und viel an harmonischer Spannung bietet.
Véhicules are eight fragile, volatile representations of slides and transitions, composed in two tunings; a’ = 432Hz for the clavichord, and a’ = 415Hz for the lute. This is an interval of a third of a tone between the two instruments, which offers much by way of harmonic tension.
