Chitarra: Armando Giulietti, Milano 1949

This guitar is truly a collector’s piece.
It has a warm, full tone, is well balanced, and very comfortable to play. The instrument is handmade and comes from the Milanese workshop of Armando Giulietti, who identifies himself on the label as a specialist in study and concert guitars as well as in classical string instruments.

Even though, from today’s perspective, this guitar is certainly not a concert instrument, it would be far too great a pity not to preserve it for the future.

The bridge is unfortunately no longer securely attached and would likely detach completely in the foreseeable future. However, the purchase price includes a full restoration, to be carried out by master luthier Christina Müller in Basel.

Diese Gitarre ist absolut ein Liebhaberstück!
Sie hat eine warmen und vollen Ton, ist gut ausgeglichen, und sie ist sehr spielerfreundlich. Das Instrument ist handgemacht und stammt aus der Mailänder Werkstatt von Armando Giulietti, der sich auf dem Zettel ausweist als spezialisiert für Studien- und Konzertgitarren, sowie für klassische Streichinstrumente.

Auch wenn diese Gitarre mindestens aus heutiger Sicht definitiv kein Konzertinstrument ist, so wäre es viel zu schade, dieses Instrument nicht für die Zukunft zu bewahren.

Der Steg ist leider nicht mehr sicher befestigt und würde sich in absehbarer Zeit vollständig lösen. Im Kaufpreis ist jedoch die vollständige Instandsetzung enthalten, die in der Meisterwerkstatt der Gitarrenbauerin Christina Müller in Basel ausgeführt wird.
