proposes brief exercises, original compositions, pieces from classic and international folk repertory transcribed and elaborated by author for clarinet and small instrumental groups.
Furthermore, this book suggests some collective exploration and improvisation activities with the aim to stimulate the pupil to use the sounds acquired in a creative way and to look for new sounds.
The material is presented gradually, following a precise didactic path, while also respecting the rhythms and ways of learning of each child.
The book can be used for at least 3 years if the student begins his or her studies at the age of 7 or 8, but the repertory offered is also suitable for the young budding clarinetist.
Note biografiche: Gabrielangela Spaggiari
, diplomata in musica corale e direzione di coro e in clarinetto, ha studiato composizione con Salvatore Sciarrino. Come clarinettista si è perfezionata all’Académie Internationale d’Eté di Nizza sotto la guida di Jacques Lancelot.
Da diversi anni svolge attività didattica nel campo dell’educazione musicale di base per i corsi di propedeutica musicale, propedeutica del clarinetto, operatori musicali e insegnanti delle scuole elementari.
Attualmente insegna propedeutica musicale e teoria e solfeggio presso l’Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali «Achille Peri» di Reggio Emilia e tiene stages sulla propedeutica del clarinetto presso la Scuola Comunale di Musica di Suzzara (Mantova).
