For the double bass, a set consisting of two Cordoncini di Roma (G-D) and one Cordone di Roma (A) is recommended.
The remaining low strings, since the Silver Wound strings are no longer in production, can optionally be supplemented with ‚Cordoni di Roma‘ or the copper-loaded strings ‚Appesantite in Rame‘.
