Arion Straps
Each of these straps is individually handcrafted, suitable for all instruments — particularly lutes and guitars.
Every piece is a true one-of-a-kind creation: each pattern or color combination exists only once.
You can also commission a custom-made strap, designed according to your own wishes and style.
Diese Gurte sind in Handarbeit hergestellt und eigenen sich für alle Instrumente, insbesondere für Lauten und Gitarren. Jeder Gurt ist ein Unikat! Ein Muster oder eine Kombination ist stets nur einmal vorhanden.
Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, einen Gurt nach eigenem Wunsch zusammenstellen zu lassen!

The seat strap can be combined with the shoulder strap.
The long strap runs from the pegbox over the shoulder, passing through the holding loop attached to the button.
You sit on the end of the strap, which provides optimal stability and support.
Der Sitzgurt kann mit dem Schultergurt kombiniert werden.
Der lange Gurt wird vom Wirbelkasten über die Schulter geführt und läuft durch die Halteschlaufe, welche am Knopf befestigt ist. Auf dem Ende kann man sitzen, wodurch optimaler Halt gewährleistet ist.
How a strap is delivered / wie ein Gurt ausgeliefert wird
All straps are delivered with a cork sleeve made of thin cork.
Alle Gurte werden mit einem Etui ausgeliefert, welches aus dünnem Kork gefertigt ist

Loose Loops
The holding loops attach to the button and guide the long strap, whose end is placed under the player to ensure a secure hold.

ARION straps are created to complement various Early Music instruments.
Originaly intended for early plucked instruments, such as lute, theorbo, archilute, baroque guitar, vihuela or guitern.
In time however, the range was extended to other instruments, that need a strap for support.
Today the ARION straps support also bassoons, dulcians, nyckelharpas drums and much more…
