series is a series of beginner guitar quartets by the renowned teacher, guitarist and composer, Lee Sollory.
The King’s Pipe
is a collection of 5 pieces inspired by Cornish Smuggling stories. The King’s Pipe still exists in the town of Falmouth, Cornwall where it was used to burn seized goods (such as tobacco) from smugglers. The idea for this piece was suggested by Peter Bone who does much to inspire the young guitarists of Cornwall, and who also commissioned the work on behalf of the Cornish Music Service.
