In 1992 flautist Kirsten Spratt asked if Heath had any unknown pieces she could record for a CD. He remembered
Gentle Dreams
and
Shiraz
which Kirsten subsequently recorded on an album called
Triligence
(CD KLT002).
Gentle Dreams
was originally for solo piano while
Shiraz
was originally for cello and piano but they have both been played in many versions including soprano saxophone, cello, flute, violin and treble recorder.
