Shiraz
was written in 1983 for rock cellist Caroline Lavelle. Unfortunately, due to record company and financial pressures, Caroline never actually performed it.
Gentle Dreams
was written in 1984 as the main vocal theme to a dance piece for London Contemporary Dance Theatre. It was later recorded by cellist Julian Lloyd Webber and pianist John Lenehan.
